Most software today is built to be measured. Every
screen is an experiment, every feature a lever, every person a number that
is supposed to go up. Over time the product starts serving the metric —
and so, quietly, do the people inside it.
We are building something else. We believe the way
software treats people is decided in its architecture, long before any
policy is written. So we make the expensive choices first: encryption
before scale, restraint before growth, craft before speed. Your attention
is not our inventory, and your information is not for sale.

Our first product
In development now: a private social application for
iPhone. At its center is a small community — writing, photographs and
video, laid out like a magazine rather than a slot machine. Nothing
plays automatically, and nothing is engineered to keep you scrolling.
There are no view counts and no visitor logs; that data is not hidden —
it is never collected.
Around the community sits private messaging:
conversations and small circles sealed end-to-end on the
customer’s own device, so that what is said between friends
belongs to them — not to a server, and not to us. Nothing written or
said in these private spaces is ever used to train any model.

Did you see the fog this morning?
Walked out in it before work. Took the long way.
Of course you did.
Bringing bread on Saturday — third attempt.
Plate IIPrivate messages, sealed on the device itself.
The product is being built for the United States
market and will be distributed through the Apple App Store.
How we make money
Nullova will be paid by its customers, not by advertisers.
Revenue will come from the people who use our software — through
subscriptions and purchases on the App Store. We do not sell advertising,
and we do not sell data.
A business model is a promise about incentives. Ours
is the oldest one there is: make something people find worth paying
for, and answer to them alone.

We will write once, when our first app is released. Nothing else, ever.
